Dr David McIvor is an Australian keynote presenter, trainer, consultant, and author, who specialises in work health and safety (WHS).

David McIvor (Ph.D.) is a Chartered Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety (CPAIHS) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD). He has 35+ years of practical, hands-on experience, working with people in many countries around the world. His focus is on “putting people back into work safety” - meaning he promotes a human-centred approach where safety is not just about compliance, but about culture, wellbeing, and practical systems that empower workers.

He shifts the focus from rules and compliance to culture, leadership, and practical action, empowering organisations - and their people - to build safer, stronger, and more sustainable workplaces.
